Windermere Ranch is owned by the Institute for Individual and World Peace, a non-profit organization. We breed, raise and train incredible athletes who are equally beautiful and breathtaking to watch in motion. Our Egyptian Arabians have the foundation of desert-bred bloodlines up close in their pedigrees thus infusing hardiness of body with soundness of mind. The Windermere staff have been trained to use new methods of communications and training with horses, called Natural Horse Training. These methods are non-inflictive and focus on becoming one with the horses in order to communicate and work with them.

The value of coming to peace within and then reaching out to be in one accord with another person or living being is not a new concept to us. It is part of the philosophical foundation of the Institute for Individual and World Peace. We use the horses as a way of tapping into the part of us who is calm, loving and peaceful. Our small herd of 18 horses are trained to assist us in that goal. We also occasionally have our offspring for sale. They have had imprint training plus handling and non-inflictive training which gives them a mutual respect for and love of human companionship, and prepares them to enrich others' lives.
